We call it A London Porter to differentiate it from its sibling, the racier Export India Porter, where export levels of hops give a fruitier, more flighty beer. In A London Porter things are warm and dark and rich. The feel and texture are nourishing. Dried fruit - raisins, prunes and dates - and chocolate. Then a balanced espresso finish. Hints of leather, tar, tobacco. Lots of coffee and cocoa
This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!
A rich and velvety cask stout with layers of toffee and soft vanilla. Roasted malts add depth and balance, while oats give a creamy body. Treacle and muscovado sugar bring hints of molasses and caramel, finished with gentle earthy bitterness from East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops
Columbus and Citra is one of our favourite hop combinations - a real classic mash up of citrus and dank notes which interplay wonderfully to create something greater than the sums of each part. We used our house West Coast Pale malt bill and yeast to finish the race as clear winners
Level Up is an American Red Ale which lays six different malts against Centennial, Citra and Simcoe hops to create a beer that's balanced whilst being full of flavour and aroma. Bright red in colour, this malty and hoppy wonder will draw you in and hug you like a blanket on a cold evening

A classic beer in the modern 'Golden Ale' style, with a superb gold colour and fullness in the mouth, which come from a subtle mixture of lightly caramelised malts. Packed full of powerful but fruity North American hops giving a good level of bitterness to perfectly balance the gravity.
ESB has a wonderful rich mahogany appearance. Taking in the nose, the beer is bursting with cherry and orange, balanced by soft malty toffee and caramel notes. The flavour delivers everything you would expect from such a full-bodied ale. The unique blend of Northdown, Target, Challenger and Goldings hops imparts grassy, peppery notes on the tongue along with intense citrus fruit characters of grapefruits, oranges and lemons. The blend of Pale Ale and Crystal malts in the brew give a biscuity, toffee element to the beer. A smooth, mellow bitterness lingers on the palate to give a superbly satisfying finish.
A bright, punchy IPA with glorious colour and big, juicy bitterness. Centennial, Columbus, Chinook and Comet hops deliver waves of pine, peach, citrus peel and resin, with a crisp grapefruit finish. Bold, balanced, and dangerously drinkable. Collaboration with Burning Sky
Crammed full of Premium Ale and Crystal barley malts, this brew shows off a rich Amber colour. Medium bodied and rounded, with subtle woody notes blended with an ultra-modern hop finish. Lightly fruity, with an edge of sweet maltiness, leaving a medium dry finish
A very clean, flaxen-coloured beer with wonderful thirst-quenching properties. The subtle blend of aroma and bittering hops give a crispness on the tongue which is delicately fruity, giving way to some dryness. The inclusion of flaked maize in the grist subtlely hints at crisp corn flavours.
At 3.9% abv, Golden Poacher is the perfect thirst quencher. Gallena and Green Bullet hops all the way through, this beer has bags of aroma with crisp citrus coming through in spades. Magnificently hoppy, you'll find yourself swirling and sniffing this beer all the way to the last drop.

Brewed with Strata and Krush hops, it opens with an enticing wave of ripe tropical fruit, citrus zest, and subtle berry notes, before revealing a deeper, resinous backbone that lingers on the palate. A gentle haze softens the edges, wrapping bold flavours and layered aromas in a smooth, easy-drinking body. Light, vibrant, and compelling. A performance you’ll want to experience again and again
An easy drinking, well balanced pale ale with a pleasing hoppy aroma. Brewed with exclusively 100% Marris Otter pale ale malt which gives a clean and crisp base. A traditional old fashioned, full bodied English IPA (rather than the in vogue US IPA's which are much stronger and much hoppier). It is based on an old English IPA recipe using Fuggles and Goldings, but dry hopped with US Cluster hops (which were perhaps surprisingly available and used in this country 150 years ago) for a very complex but nicely balanced beer.
Together with Oakham Ales we've brewed this standout American pale ale, fermented on our own union set. Using the finest Marris Otter malt as a base, we've used a classic combination of the best US hops to give bold flavours of zesty, citrus, fresh pine and a touch of tropical fruit
